Here we are with Christina, her fiancé and two adopted dogs! The Chihuahua fur babies were adopted and it's a father daughter duo! When a couple is tying the knot it's important to incorporate everyone that is closest to the pair. The dogs were full of personality and just yapping away! The challenge we had was having everyone look at the camera at the same time! These two met in high school and now they are getting married by the end of this year!
Cypress Grove Park was a great location and Christina loved it for the versatility and dog friendly location. We started our shoot early in the morning and there weren't too many visitors during that time. We moved all around the park and got a variety of scenes.

This session took place at Orlando's Icon Park 360! Its an observation wheel that is over 400 feet tall! There are 30 Capsules that can fit up to 15 people. An entire rotation is 22 minutes and you'll have spectacular views of Orlando, including Walt Disney World. Central Florida Lifestyle had a Cutest Baby Contest that was sponsored by Advent Health and the winner received a $500 prize. Can you guess which baby was the winner?
We setup for the picnic session at 6:30 AM Sharp and the cute babies started arriving at 7:30 AM. The yellow and white checkered blanket definitely added to the session along with the vibrant red juicy watermelon! It was certainly too early for me 6:30 am, but I wasn't going to miss out on capturing these adorable babies! The babies were all under 2 years of age and they all interacted with one another with hugs and sharing grapes! We had a blast with the families and babies and you can check out the article on the App for Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine.
Intimate Wedding portraits are so much fun! It warms up my heart seeing couples adoring one another just by the way they look at each other! Dr. Ali contacted me a month prior to having the session and that he wanted to have an outdoor intimate wedding. His brother in law was the officiant and they were going to celebrate and share the love they have for one another by having portraits captured.
There were several locations in mind, and this location was the one! This lakeside private park was located in a gorgeous neighborhood and they wanted a sunset shoot to have golden hour portraits! When I arrived to the park, I was taken aback by the wandering peacocks! The only time I've ever experienced a pea cock in its true form is the zoo! Soon, a resident arrived and she was sitting in a chair and looking up at the tree, I said hello and asked if she was there for the sunset! She said at sunset all the peacocks flock to the tree and sleep at night! I was speechless! This was absolutely amazing and at night many neighbors stood waiting to see this beautiful site! Also, the portraits came out amazing as well! You can't go wrong with golden hour portraits.
I've been looking forward to this birthday session for weeks! We absolutely enjoy customizing sessions for families so that each session is unique to each individual. Collaborating with Stephanie, we planned for several outfits for the various backgrounds in studio! Since this was the first professional studio birthday session for Mariah's 7th birthday I wanted to make it extra special! Who doesn't love pink... flowers...sparkle, and glitter? Well, I certainly love all of the above and fun fragrances too! Mariah was initially quiet when we started and at the end of the session she started singing.
We planned for a silver sequin backdrop, a fuchsia pink backdrop, and also a black background for a classic look. Oh! I also forgot to mention the pretty flower background and frilly fabric for the lying down portraits. The fancy silver sequin backdrop would be used with the gold foil number 7 balloon. Mini in studio birthday sessions are so much fun to capture because they are convenient and we can avoid that Florida humidity. Mini Sessions range from 30 minutes to one hour. I can't wait to share with you Mariah's birthday portraits!
Excited to share a recent outdoor maternity session that took place in Kissimmee, FL that has a gorgeous lakeside view. The Nguyen's have been long time clients and I've captured their portraits from when their son was in the belly and now they are expecting again! They're having another boy and I can't wait to meet the little guy.
Kim wanted an outdoor maternity shoot that was light and airy. Her maternity dress was light in color and the family color coordinated with light pastel colors for the maternity session that complemented well with the outdoor scenery. When its time to capture the essence of a pregnancy, its important to have fun and go with the flow. Especially working with young little ones, I'm not able to control every aspect of the session. Working quickly and capturing candid portraits as well as posed portraits would describe a maternity session with young children. The past few times I captured photos of Nolan during the holidays he would say to his parents, "I don't like woman"! He was definitely camera shy even with my zoom lens while I would hide in the bushes! The blue skies, white sand, and water was absolutely beautiful and gave us gorgeous maternity family photos.
Senior Sessions are the most rewarding sessions for me as a photographer because I enjoy providing an experience for my clients. Senior portraits are a time to celebrate the accomplishments over the years in High School and it marks the beginning of early adulthood whether it be going to college or spent working on a trade.
Lauren was open to a fun High School Senior session and she had so many outfits she wanted to bring to the session. I love outfits and different looks! We collaborated and decided that we would have a City look with an Urban feel and we would continue to an area with nature and greenery, and then winter park with a rustic charm! We started our portrait session with a meeting at the studio and made sure the outfits were ironed and ready for a photo session! Who doesn't want to wear a sexy black dress? We took these portraits in the city of Orlando and we were so scared the swans were going to attack us! They really do attack people when they get too close. The remainder of the session was a breeze and so much fun!
Hello everyone! Its a fabulous day to get back to sharing with you what I've been up to! My current outdoor view is blue skies, and I can see a slight breeze blowing the leaves on these thin tree branches. In a few hours it will be perfect for portraits during the golden hour.
Today I'm sharing professional studio portraits of two fur babies, Yogi and Luna! Miyuki first reached out to me and commented how she favored my style of airy wedding portraits and she wanted to book a session to capture her fur babies. The two yorkies are just too cute! Of course they didn't come in and start smiling, they had to walk around sniff and add a few barks before I could get them to start modeling and showing off their smiles. Fine art pet portraits are rewarding to capture due to the unexpected that can occur during a session. Of course my mindset would be Smile, Stay calm, and snap photos as much as you can. And no erratic movements or the fur babies will get overly excited. We started off capturing the pet portraits with a silver sequin backdrop, then a floral green fabric backdrop, and my absolute favorite is the black backdrop. A black background makes the subject not only stand out but also provides that timeless classic look. Lights, camera, action! Professional Headshot photos can take place in studio or outdoors. Depending on the final desired look, each client has a vision and we're here to help them achieve their goals. For Miledis, she contacted me for some in studio professional modeling headshots so she can send it to her Modeling Agency. We decided to do a light and dark background. Two different looks, a smile with teeth and a smile without teeth showing.
A single light set up from Flashpoint was used for these headshots along with natural lighting and a reflector. Hair and makeup was provided by the client and she came ready for her professional headshots. The final images were retouched to look natural because you don't want to submit an image to you agency that best represents you! Of course the lighting also helps with giving you that perfect image!
Mona, the mother of these two gorgeous girls contacted me and expressed to me she wanted simple in studio portraits of the girls in Traditional Japanese Kimonos. I was so excited for this project because Kimonos are gorgeous and Mulan wears one that looks similar to a Japanese Kimono right? I understand she's Chinese but that's the closest experience to a Kimono I've seen in real life!
For every client that steps foot into the photo studio I want to ensure its an experience and not a cookie cutter feel. Each client has their own vision of what they would like to see on their walls. And portraits are family heirloom pieces that are handed down for generations. The challenge was on and I thought about what color background would look best for the colorful Kimonos. The garments are brighter and for younger girls and they get darker in color as the girls get older. In studio portraits, should we smile or not smile? Serious looks only? I learned that feet have to be together at all times and everything underneath the Kimono must remain hidden and out of sight. So I thought a jumping shot would look really awesome, but then the undergarments would show. So lets just stand cute and smile! The Background was seamless paper from Savage in eggshell. Wonderful color right! Below are just a few in studio portraits from the session. I love the colors and designs. New Year, new you, and new headshots of course! The Innovation Group of Lake Nona started the New Year with an amazing team photo and some updated realtor headshots of Maddie. You may recognize her from being a realtor in Lake Nona, who has just joined the Innovation Group. These real estate lifestyle photos show off the interior of a home built by Hanover Family Builders.
Their team is constantly growing and will most likely need a new team headshot in a few months. For now we're highlighting Maddie who is a luxury home realtor of the Lake Nona area. We enjoy capturing professional headshots for realtors in studio, outdoors and on location such as the team photos captured for the Innovation Group. The high resolution images can then be used for business cards, marketing material and all forms of social media. |
