This weekend friends and family of Keller Williams celebrated Baby Dominic's Baby Shower! The theme was baby blue, white and gray. The room was decorated with lovely square glass centerpieces containing baby breath and white roses. Helium filled balloons filled the room and the main centerpiece was a gray bear holding a bouquet of white balloons!
It was raining earlier in the day and it cleared up just before the baby shower. We stepped out of the office for a few portraits of Maritza and her husband for some maternity portraits! They are just lovely! When we think of prom I would agree it’s customary to think we’re going to arrive in style with a group of friends and rent a limo for the evening.
Well, I was certainly in shock and awe when John first reached out to me and shared with me his plans for the evening. The gorgeous couple would arrive in style via helicopter and have light refreshments at the Four Seasons Hotel. Shortly after they would go to Prom at the Swan and Dolphin hotel. John’s father who is also Mr. John gave me a lesson on the flying sock and wind direction to determine which way the helicopter would land. I though to myself... oh boy I may have to run circles around this helicopter to get the shots I need! Nonetheless, with camera in tow I was able to capture the landing and grand entrance of John and Ashley! It was and event to remember in my book! Jessica is now a UCF Graduate! Her sweet boyfriend surprised Jessica with a Graduation portrait session at UCF. He contacted me and told me that he wanted a graduate portrait as a graduation gift! We went during the weekend and was able to capture photos at the Spirit Pond, and in front of the Health and Public Affairs building.
I'm also a UCF Graduate and this certainly brought back memories of me lugging books to class. I was also a science major, Molecular Biology and Microbiology was my degree. I must admit It was one tough journey. Graduating from college is certainly a major accomplishment and what celebration have you seen without confetti! I had to bring out the confetti for some portraits! #UCFgraduation #Confettiphotos #ucfgrad #confettiportraits I love the idea of adding movement to a still photo. And we did just that with these in studio flour portraits. We shot against a Savage Seamless Black background with one studio flash and threw flour into the air. Of course it wasn't the first shot that we got what we wanted. We took a few creative shots and I just love the outcome. The model is Connie my sister visiting from Germany and I wanted to do something different. We just looked in our closets and put together an outfit.
The flour photo session was a big mess, there was flour everywhere and its nearly impossible to clean! If you're going to try this, be prepared to clean up and sweep the floors numerous times. Next time I'd like to add colored flour for portraits! #Nonaphotography #seniorportraits #flourphotoideas
It was a great pleasure to finally meet Madison from Colorado! Shes so friendly and sweet. I took Madison's moms wedding portraits last year! And she told me we were going to be capturing some High School Senior portraits very soon! So here we are in Winter Garden! Its a gorgeous location. We wanted more of a youthful, bright, and editorial look. Madison did great with her selection of outfits. A white and red pantsuit, white jeans and a blue jean top, and I loved the flower print on the pants! It was just enough color to make a fashion statement.
We walked all over Winter Garden and captured these amazing portraits! I especially love the one where she took a huge leap! |
