first birthday party at lake nona canvas and cake smash session in studio with nona photography

Sophia has just turned 1! Raul and Tatiana contacted me a year ago to capture maternity portraits and now its time to capture Sophia's smiles! Time certainly flies by so quickly and I didn't realize the big day was approaching. A birthday party was celebrated at the Canvas Restaurant in Lake Nona and we had a cake smash the following day in studio. 

Canvas is a gorgeous location especially with the waterfront that can be seen from the dining area. Luckily we captured a few memories before it started raining on us! Its unpredictable with the rain here in Orlando. One day it will be overcast or sunny with showers! Who knows whats to happen.

The indoor session was very pleasant! We set up a backdrop with balloons and captured the smiles! We had so much fun during the cake smash.
